She didn't expect the kid to just show up immediately, but maybe she shouldn't have been surprised by it; Cassie has been pretty stuck to her side in some ways since they met. She trusts Yelena in a way she doesn't most other people here.
She'll find her downstairs in the compound in the main living area but not in her room. She hasn't changed from what she was in when they came back from Moorecroft yet, there's an open bottle of vodka on the table in front of her with a significant amount of it already gone.
Yelena hears it when Cassandra comes in, it's too quiet in the compound for her not to, and that gives her that tiny split-second to swipe at her face and try to pull herself together. "Hey, I didn't know you were coming so fast." Her voice is a little hoarse, the way it would be if she'd been crying, and her eyes are a little glassy to add to the image. She doesn't go any further out of her way trying to hide that she's upset, though; she knows the girl would see through it anyway.
